Thank you for purchasing the Sloegrin brand product. To ensure that you receive total satisfaction in the installation and subsequent usage of our product, we strongly recommend that you study carefully all terms and conditions as contained in this warranty document before you begin any installation and that you fill in all required details on the “Warranty Registration Card” and return the same for our processing.
Upon receipt of your “Warranty Registration Card” and official “Registration Number” unique to the item you have purchased shall be allocated and noted onto your “Warranty Registration Card” and the same shall be returned to you via registered mail. It is important for you to note that the “Warranty Registration Card” must be produced in conjunction with the “Proof of Purchase” whenever ‘Repair or Maintenance” is required within the warranty period provided and as outlined in this document.
For customers who have access to the Internet simply login to our website at http://www.sloegrin.com to obtain the “Warranty Registration Number” and, please note the same number on the this card which is included with every product. Please note that it will not be necessary for you to send in the Warranty Registration Card for we shall recognise the “Warranty Registration” and the Registration Number from our online database.
However, the following terms & conditions explain the details and restrictions of this warranty and this will not affect your statutory rights :
1.0 Warranty Conditions:
1.1 This warranty covers only products manufactured and/or supplied by Sloegrin Limited under the Sloegrin brand in the United Kingdom and the Irish Republic.
1.2 This warranty is only valid upon proper and successful completion of the “Warranty Registration” within 30 days of installation and/or within 3 months from date of purchase of the product in question.
1.3 This warranty is only valid provided that all procedures as provided for in the “Installation Manual” has been followed fully and that such installation is carried out by a professional bathroom installer or plumber.
1.4 This warranty is only valid upon presentation of both the “Warranty Registration Card and the “Proof of Purchase” and that all warranty services provided are only entitile to the original purchaser of the relevant product.
1.5 This warranty is only valid for product(s) purchased for private and personal use. For the avoidance of doubt private & personal shall mean individuals and home use which does not include Leisure Clubs, Schools, Dormitories, Hotels, Rental apartments and any Business Buildings.
1.6 This warranty is only valid upon proper and reasonable usage as outlined in the Maintenance Guide outlined below.
1.7 This warranty is only valid on condition that the product has not been modified and/or wrongfully installed. For the avoidance of doubt wrongful installation shall mean installations not in accordance with the steps & procedures as outlined in the Installation Manual.
1.8 This warranty is only valid on condition that any and all damages found were not caused by human errors. For the avoidance of doubt this shall mean damages caused by the installer and/or the user.
1.9 This warranty is only valid, in the case of cabinets equipped with LED Mirrors and/or Back light mirrors, Overhead light mirrors, Cabinets and any other electrical products upon proper installation by a qualified electrical technician who holds the ‘Part P’ certificate as required by law.
2.0 Warranty Restrictions:
2.1 Any product(s) purchased but not installed within 90 days and/or product(s) installed but without having the ‘Warranty Registration’ procedures completed within 30 days of its installation shall only be eligible for standard one year warranty
2.2 Any product(s) requiring repair or maintenance shall be subject to prior inspection by Sloegrin’s authorised representative or technicians and that all relevant documents namely the “Warranty Registration Card” and “Proof of Purchase” must present at the same time. Failing which Sloegrin may refuse such service requests.
2.3 Any product(s) which has been modified, altered, wrongfully installed and/or wrongfully used be it intentionally or otherwise, Sloegrin shall not be held responsible for any claims.
2.4 Any and all requests for repairs are limited to the product(s) itself and not any other matters relating to the bathroom and/or other components or accessories which may or may not have a direct relationship with the product.
2.5 This warranty shall not cover any product(s) which has been reinstalled nor any components associated with the reinstallation including displayed items.
2.6 This warranty applies only to repairs and or replacements of components necessary and as such no refund of any kind shall be applicable under any circumstances.
3.0 Important Notice:
3.1 As we are constantly improve our products and, in the event that a replacement of your product is necessary as per terms and conditions contained in this Warranty Document and that identical product is no longer produced we may replace you with a nearest equivalent product.
3.2 In cases where our technician have ascertained that the service and or repairs called-for does not qualify for the warranty coverage, a fee of (£100) shall be charged per visit which is additional to any installation charge required.
3.3 This warranty does not cover any transportation and or installation charges which shall be for the account of the purchaser.
3.4 This warranty shall not be valid in case of Force Majeure including War, Terrorist Attacks, Earth Quakes, Tsunamis and any other natural disasters which are beyond Sloegrin’ s control.
4.0 Classified Warranty Terms:
4.1 Shower enclosures and bath screens:
We provide limited life-time warranty for the glass of all shower enclosures and bath screens away from any defects in material and workmanship appearing and properly disclosed, we shall replace the affected part free of charge. For parts and components associated within this product range, such as Magnetic Door Stripes, Hinges, Rollers,wear & tear items such as water resisting seals，door stopers, should granted with 1 year warranty. 3 years warranty is granted to aluminum parts and door hinges.
4.2 Standard Mirror, Lights Tube Mirrors, LEDs Mirrors, Cabinets, Stainless Steel Cabinets, LEDs Mirror Cabinets and Furnitures, etc： We provide limited 5 yrs Warranty for all mirrors and glassware. If any defects are found prior to installation we shall replace such item for you free of charge, whereas during the Warranty period should such item be found to have become defective due to quality issues we shall determine and replace such item for free. All other associated components such as, Light tubes, Batteries, LEDs, Sensor, Steam pad, Transformer, Fuse, Pull cord, shelf holders, Hinges, Magnetic Stripes, Rollers and etc, which come with standard one year warranty.
4.3 Shower Trays：
All Shower Trays comes with the standard one year warranty.
5.0 Maintenance Guide:
5.1 Shower Enclosures and Bath Screens：Best using soft cleaning cloth to wipe off all dust and dirt on the surface and, always use warm water and soap to clean it regularly. Avoid using powder detergent which contains polishing ingredients thus avoiding scratch marks being left on the surface.
5.2 Shower trays：Best using warm soap water and or bathroom cleaning detergent immediately after use and avoid at all times using any other detergents which contains polishing ingredients. Avoid at all times contact with chemical products such as hair dying lotions, concentrates of disinfectant, alcohols, after shaves, perfume, nail polish or nail polish removal liquid etc. 5.3 Stainless steel Products：Best using warm soap water or bathroom cleaning detergent to remove minor stains or dirt on the surface and to keep the surface dry at all times to avoid corrosion, milder type of stain removal detergents can be used but be sure to rinse and dry the surface after cleaning. Avoid using strong acid and or disinfectant and never use wire mash type materials to avoid scratch marks.
5.4 Wooden Furnitures: For all wooden materials whether or not is of solid wooden（MDF）materials complete dryness must be maintain and this can be achieved by using a soft cloth to absorb and wipe clean all water left on the surface. It is recommend to use a soft and damp cloth to wipe clean the surface. Avoid at all times the use of wire mash cleaning devices and or detergents which contains polishing ingredients.
5.5 Mirrors: Best using a soft cloth to wipe off the surface dust follow by class cleaning detergents and cold water to complete the cleaning. Avoid at all time using warm water and or detergents which contains polishing ingredients. 5.6 Basin Units: Best using soap water to clean and rinse regularly. Scrubbing and polishing can be made by using a soft cloth and regular cleaning can prevent salty particles from accumulating. Avoid at all times the use of strong detergents and never leave any detergents or bleach on the surface over night to avoid corrosion of the surface.
5.7 Electrical Light Mirrors：Avoid contact with water at all times to prevent electrification. Suggest using specialized mirror cleaning liquid and to wipe clean the surface with a dry cloth.
