1.1 Q: How to fit the D-shaped shower enclosure wall profile on the wall?
A: Fit the wall profile as shown below.
1.2 Q: Is the door of all our enclosures reversible?
A: All the doors are made for left and right hand openings by simply turning the door upside down.
1.3 Q: Can Pivot Doors Hinged Doors and Bi-Fold doors open inwards and outwards?
A: All Pivot Doors and Hinged Doors open outwards only and Bi-Fold Doors open inwards only.
1.4 Q: How thick is the glass?
A: Glass thicknesses vary from 6mm to 8mm , All Shower Enclosure you choose is 6mm. The glass thickness of Walk-Thru Flat Panel is 8mm (SLWTP) and the Walk-in side panel also 8mm (SLWISP).
1.5 Q: I am short on space what type of enclosure would you recommend?
A: Sloegrin supply a varied selection of space saving models when space is limited.A Quadrant, Bow-shape or D-Shape shower enclosure can fit neatly into a corner location and selecting a model with sliding doors avoids obstructions, such as other bathroom fittings, that may restrict door movement. A Bi-Fold door opens inwards and can be fitted into a recess or fitted with a side panel for a corner location. A Sliding Door, offers a larger showering area, but can be neatly fitted into a recess, in a narrow area.
1.6 Q: Can I install my enclosure on an uneven wall?
A: Yes, there is adjustment within the wall profile to allow for ‘out of true walls’. The adjustment available for each product varies across the Sloegrin range of products, so refer to specifications which are detailed on our website.
1.7 Q: How long do I need to allow the sealant to cure before using the shower?
A: A period of at least 24 hours is required for the sealant to cure.

1.9 Q: Can I cut the glass and aluminum down to suit my requirements?
A: Any modifications or alterations made without prior written consent by manufactures will invalidate your guarantee with immediate effect. Please check the instruction booklet for their Term and Conditions.
1.10 Q: Can I remove the Towel Rail on my Side Panel?
A: We recommend that fixtures such as towel rails are fitted to ensure a watertight performance. If you remove the side panel, the location holes will be visible.
1.11 Q: Who can install my Shower Enclosure?
A: Your retailer will offer an installation service, or will be able to recommend a professional installer. All of our products are supplied with installation instructions should you wish to install the product yourself but this may affect your validation of products guarantee, please confirm with manufactures before install.
